Turn Pro Jackpots Rules

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A MEMBER TO RUN AT OUR JACKPOTS. However, to be eligible for year end awards, you must be a current TPJ member.

15/50 - 4D Format: Must be 15 and under or 50 and older as of January 1, 2026. 1D Fastest time, 2D +0.5 seconds, 3D +1 second, 4D +seconds.

Open - 5D Format: Open to anyone. 1D fastest time, 2D +0.5 seconds, 3D +1second, 4D +1.5 seconds, 5D +2 seconds.

Pole Bending - 3D Format: Open to anyone. 1D Fastest time, 2D +1 second, 3D +2 seconds

16-49 - 4D Format CARRYOVER ONLY: Must be between the ages of 16-49 (including) as of January 1, 2026. 1D fastest time, 2D +0.5 second, 3D +1 second, 4D +2 seconds.

Novice Horse - 3D Format CARRYOVER ONLY: Open to any rider. Horse must not have competed before November 15, 2025. 1D fastest time, 2D +1 second, 3D +2 seconds.

Arena Changes: We may change arenas due to weather and we will give you as much notice as possible. We may add races and co-sanction more races. We will keep you updated if changes to the schedule occur.

Draw: You need to enter by 5pm the day before the race OR AS SPECIFIED ON REMINDER EMAIL. You can email entries@turnprojackpots.com, text or call 801-686-6979.

Draw outs: If you need to draw out please text or call 801-686-6979. After 3 no shows & no call to scratch, you will be placed at the end of the draw for the rest of the season.

Timer Malfunction: If the timer malfunctions and we do not get your time, you will have the option of either running again or getting a full refund.

A knocked over barrel is a no time.

Time only runs: Before time only runs will be limited. Unless otherwise noted, time only runs will be first come first serve. Time only runs may be sign up and pay at the gate or through Saddlebook. You must pay before you run unless you have contacted us beforehand. There will also be time only runs after the race if time permits.

3 Minute Gate Rule: If your horse has a problem entering the arena and takes longer than 3 minutes after you name is called, you will be turned out or placed at the end. If your horse has known gate issues, please let us know when you sign up for the jackpot and we will work with you.

Turn Pro Jackpots has a no tolerance policy for abuse of you horse. There will be no excessive schooling of horses before, during, or after a run.

Arena Etiquette: Please be courteous to others when you are warming up. Remember everyone wants to get warmed up and ready to run. Any unsportsmanship like conduct will be given a warning and the next time you could be asked to leave.

Year End Awards - Must be a member to earn points. All jackpots, TPJ weekend races, and co-sanctioned races will count towards year end points. Membership must be paid before your run in order to earn points for that race.

Co-Sanctioned Races: You pay $3 per run per horse to have your points count towards year end awards.

Saddles: Awarded to Open 5D, 15/50, 16-49, and Pole Bending winners. Ties will be broken by money earned.

Buckles: Awarded to Open 5D, 15/50, 16-49, Pole Bending, and Novice Horse. Ties will be broken by money earned.

**If you enter more than one horse at the jackpot and place on both horses in the same division, you will get points only on the horse you placed highest. Checks will be awarded for both horses.

Returned Checks: $35.00 will be charged on all returned checks. All checks and penalties have to be paid before you are allowed to run again.

Replacement Checks: $10.00 will be charged for any check that need to be replaced.

Address: Make sure that we have your correct mailing address as checks will be mailed if not picked up at the next jackpot.
